今度から、オランダのシンタクラースの「ブラックピーター」は、肌を青に塗って、ブルーのウィッグをかぶって、「ブルーピーターズ」にして、宇宙船に乗ってくれば、未来っぽくていいんじゃないの？奴隷は宇宙人。
Dear Dutch people,
For "Black Peter" in the Sinterklaas, if you paint your skin blue, wear a blue wig, name it "Blue Peter" and ride a spaceship, isn't it good to look like the future? Slaves are aliens.
顔をススだらけにすると、ただの汚い感じだし、アフリカ系の人に失礼だと思う。まるで、「暗い肌はススで汚れてるみたい」と言っているみたいじゃないか？それに、もっと顔に化粧(どうらん)を塗りたくりたいんじゃない？それでワタシは考えた、ってワケ。
「昔はよかったのに、今はつまらなくなった」と考えるのではなく、今を知り、未来を見て。過去を生きてはいけない。

If your face covered with soot, it's just looks dirty, and I think it's rude to Africans. Isn't it like you're saying, "Dark skin looks like covered with soot"? And, don't you want to put more makeup thickly on your face, not just a little bit? So I thought about it.
Instead of thinking, "It used to be good, but now is boring," know what we are today, look at the future. Don't live in the past!

オランダにはシンタクラース（聖ニコラス）と呼ばれる聖人がいる。シンタクラースは11月にスペインからやってきて、12月初めの聖ニコラスの日にオランダの子供たちにプレゼントを届ける。子供たちはお菓子などを入れてもらうため、前日の夜に煙突や裏口のそばに自分の靴を置いてから眠りにつく。
サンタクロースの原形とも言われるこのシンタクラースには「ブラック・ピート」（オランダ語では「ズワルト・ピート」）と呼ばれるたくさんの従者がいる。
ピートは顔が黒く、髪はくるくるしたアフロヘアで、唇を赤く塗り、金色のリングのイヤリングを身につけている。「ブラック・ピート」は19世紀から伝わる伝統で、オランダが奴隷貿易に関わっていたことに由来すると言われている。

Pete has a black face, curly afro hair, paints his lips red, and wears golden ring earrings. " "Black Pete" is a tradition handed down from the 19th century, and it is said that it originated from the Dutch involvement in the slave trade.
