I bought a cat cushion for Bunji at Nitori for around 1500 yen.
"I wonder if he'll use it? He's such a cautious cat. If he doesn't use it, I'll use it as a zabuton cushion."
“Bun-chan, I bought this for you. as a gift! Use it!”
Then, Bunji became kind of embarrassed. ``Well, I appreciate it, though... it's a bit of luxurious for me... I feel awkward to use it...'' It was the humble response. We didn't speak, but we communicate through facial expressions.
I placed it next to his favorite cardboard box, he didn't use it for a while. “I’m fine with it.” “Eh, why? Use a cushion !”
