ブンジは、ベッドの下にもぐって一日中出てこなくなった。ブンちゃん、お水とごはんここ置いておくよ。
ブンジが食べる音をベッドの上で聞いていた。ブンジを安心させるために、ワタシもなるべくベッドの上にいるようにした。
夜が来ると、ブンジはやっと出てきて、一晚中、玄関のドアを見張り続けた。
深夜に見えない怪獸が侵入して荒らし回ると思ったらしい。朝が来ると、ベッドの下に潜り、猫はやっと、眠りにつくのだった。夜勤を終えた黒猫。「フゥ・・やれやれ。おやすみにゃさい」
