When I was in Japan, an American teacher taught me the alphabet about once a week. He taught my big sister and mother after this.
Though I learn the alphabet, I couldn't enter into conversations with my classmates, of course.
They’re 5 years old and talked about love like teenagers (which was very matured to me! )
The toddlers around there were watching Sesame Street, but I didn't watch much because I was jealous of the stuffed animals who happily chatted in English with their friends.
It was MTV in its heyday that healed such a lonely me.
