In 1988, I was in Portland, Oregon, USA.
It is a sister city of Sapporo and Portland.
Due to my father's job, my family of four lived in a cheap apartment for a year.
Until then, I lived a kindergarten life in Sapporo.
Suddenly, I was in a situation where I was in a foreign land far away, unable to understand the language, and constantly forced to feel tense.
My parents told me to always hang a string of a paper in a file around my neck. "Point them when you need"
how embarrassing...
it’s like a 2 year old...

1988年、ワタシはアメリカはオレゴン州ポートランド市にいた。
札幌市とポートランド市の姉妹都市である。
その事業と父の仕事の関係で、家族4人で一年間、安アパートに住んだのだ。
それまで、のほほんと札幌で幼稚園ライフを
送っていたワタシは、突如、遠い異国の地で、言葉も通じず緊張感を常に強いられるという状況に陥った。
親から、ヒモのついた、ファイルに入った紙をいつも首から下げるように言われた。「指差しなさいよ」
なにこれはずかしい…
2歳児みたい…
トイレぐらい言えるわ…
