I think Tom and Jerry are very funny, cute, and very creative, but they are too violent. I can't bear to think that the tens of millions of people who grew up watching and laughing at this are still today thinking and acting on the idea that violence is necessary and something to enjoy.
Then, I met Cheburashka. “Cheburasaaashk” ← Meaning “a person who falls flat”. Acoustic Russian music that evokes melancholy.
There is basically no violence in Cheburashka, and the content is satirical and constructive, with the story of a mysterious creatur and a lonely crocodile becoming friends.
``Gena works as a crocodile at a zoo. He commutes from his apartment every day and enters the cage himself until closing time.'' His legs and tail are cute.
I highly recommend to watch it at least once.

トムとジェリーは、とても面白くてかわいくて、たいへんクリエイティブだと思うのだが、いかんせん、暴力的すぎる。これを見て笑って育った何千万人の人間が、こんにちも「暴力は必要で、楽しむもの」と思考し行動しているか、又はしてきたかと思うと、ワタシはいたたまれない気持ちになる。
そんな折、ワタシはチェブラーシカに出会った。「チェブラーシカ」←「バッタリ倒れ屋さん」の意。朴訥として哀愁を誘うアコースティックなロシア音楽。
チェブラーシカに基本的に暴力表現はなく、謎の生物であるところのチェブラーシカと、孤独なワニが友達になるなど、風刺的かつ建設的な内容である。
『動物園で「ワニ」として働いているゲーナ。毎日アパートから通勤して、閉園時間まで自ら檻に入る』足としっぽがかわいい。
