「生まれはアメリカのロサンゼルス、でも育ちは日本で、インターナショナルスクールに通った。両親はインド人で、祖父が1965年に来日。13年間神戸で暮らして、高校からはニューヨーク。 2歳から無理矢理ピアノやらされたけど好きではなかった。高校ではトロンボーンをやってた。本当はコンピュータの道に行こうと思ってたけど、16才の時にPhil Ramone ( https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/フィル・ラモーン )という大物プロデューサーの自宅の事務所で3ヶ月インターンシップした時に、お前は音楽をやれと言われて、ボストンのバークリー音楽大学に行った。フィルの口聞きで、学生時代はTony Bennettのニュージャージーのスタジオで土日だけ3年間で働いた。金曜の深夜、3時間半高速飛ばして、月曜の朝戻る生活だった。バークリーの後は、一年間NYのヒット・ファクトリーで働いて、そこが潰れたからマイアミの Hit FactoryのCriteria Studioに勤めた。そこは治安が悪くて、ギャングも多いし、ボブマーリーの息子とかが、スタジオに銃持ってきて横にポンと置くし、目の前で人死ぬしで、22歳の時、 ラスベガスに越して、Studio at the Palmsというスタジオに 3年間勤めて、マイケル・ジャクソンのアルバムに携わったりした。その後24、25歳の時ロスに引っ越して、10年ぶりに日本遊びに来て、初めて東京来て、avexとかSONYとかと話したら、日本に仕事あると思って、すぐに東京に引っ越したのが2008年。」
